CBSE Class 12 Economics Deleted Syllabus 2022-23: The CBSE board offers an economics course (code 030) to its upper secondary students as part of its academic choices. Students in the Humanities and Business streams opt for economics. Meanwhile, even some students in the science stream are pursuing economics studies in 12th grade. The course is designed in such a way as to enable students to begin to have a perspective of the national and international economy and to equip them with the basic tools and techniques with which they can carry out their perspectives and analyses.
Over time, the global economy also evolves, taking on new shapes and patterns. Therefore, the CBSE Board of Trustees is constantly updating and modifying its curriculum to enable the holistic growth of its students. For the 2022-23 academic session, we see some changes in the program compared to the 2019-20 academic session.
Here is a list of topics that have been removed from the programHere is a list of topics that have been removed from the current program:
- Of Unit 4 – Government budget and economy: revenue deficit, budget deficit, primary deficit their significance.
- Of Unit 5 – Balance of Payments: Advantages and disadvantages of flexibility and fixed exchange rate
- Of Unit 7 – Current challenges of the Indian economy – Poverty– absolute and relative; Main anti-poverty programs: a Evaluation; Infrastructure- Meaning and Types: Case Studies: Energy and Health: Problems and Policies – A Critical Appraisal.
